What is outsourcing and why are
Internet companies outsourcing their projects to other companies?
Outsourcing is a process in which companies get their work done
from an outside vendor for multiple reasons favorable for the
company who has the project or favorable for the project's efficiency.
There are multiple reasons why Internet companies are outsourcing
their projects to other companies. It is a great solution for
companies, especially if they do not have any internal development
capabilities or do not wish to develop such skills or projects
at the cost of more strategic issues.
Many of the Indian Internet
companies are given projects from companies round the globe.
Why?
Firstly India has the pool of good technical manpower that are
experienced and efficient. Secondly Indian companies are cost
effective as compared to other countries that are good in IT.
So Indian companies can give quality solutions in a quite reasonable
cost. These are some of the reasons why lots of companies are
outsourcing projects to Indian companies. Arden also has its
development center in India which houses the best technical
staff who is experienced across a lot of various development
tools and projects.
What are the various software tools
used by Arden to develop outsourced projects. And why many of
the outsourced projects Arden gets are from the Japanese and
the Asian markets?
Arden has always been updated on the latest technologies available
and has the skilled manpower that is working on these technologies.
Arden currently is using tools like Broadvision, Websphere,
Java, PHP and ASP to develop outsourced projects. The tools
used by Arden depend on the outsourcing company, but Arden keeps
itself abreast all the good tools in the market. Arden has its
offices in Japan, Australia, UK and its development center in
India. It is an Asian/ Japanese focused company though it has
worked for the European and Australian market. It also has native
Japanese and Asian staff working with it. This staffs are the
coordinators who coordinate with the Japanese/ Asian companies
more efficiently, thus breaking the language barrier. Again
because of its high time commitment, quality work and market
know-how, most of the outsourced work Arden gets is from Japan
and Asia. |
